I am grateful for the moments both happy and sad
For without them life lacks purpose and meaning
So much has been given and time is required
To comprehend the growth so richly inspired
Finding balance in journey the ultimate key
Appreciation of experience comes only with age
A pendulum of emotion setting the rhythm
Tarnishing the richness of all that is given
